Saudi Arabia to Privatise State Hospitals
Government hospitals in Saudi Arabia will soon be run by boards of directors in a bid to improve health services, according to a report by Arab News. The project, now finalised by the Saudi Health Ministry, would cost SR10 billion (US$2.67bn) and has been presented to higher authorities for approval, according to Dr. Khaled Al-Mirghalani, spokesman for the ministry.
